[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Plastic products never decompose. There is a saying, “The First invented Plastic still exist.” It takes more than 300 years to disintegrate. Whether you throw it to the water or burn it, it pollutes water and air both. Polythene is the main menace. It causes water clogging, flood and endanger the species in water and even endanger us with Carbon Monoxide while burned, which is the absolute cause for many respiratory diseases.
Study says the average usage time of polythenes is not more than 15 minutes for carrying the groceries to home. All those plastic products are going in the trash can after a while but most of them are just thrown away. 15 minutes of usage and 300+ years of pollution. To stop polluting our world any more we are switching to 100% Organic, Bio-Degradable and totally compostable or reusable products for packaging. Against the plastic we are using the best alternative found till now ; like Jute Shopping bags, Paper packs, Glass bottle and jars, Metal jar , Starch bags, Sonali bags , etc.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]With a vow to keep our world breathable and healthy we have opted for eco friendly packaging.
Our brown colour paper packs are effortlessly stylish and will remind you of the classic looking of paper bags. Despite its low durability, one advantage of paper is that it decomposes much more quickly than plastic, and therefore it is less likely to be a source of litter and pose a risk to wildlife. Paper is also more widely recyclable, while plastic bags can take between 400 and 1,000 years to decompose.
Our re-usable jute shopping bags are made from one hundred percent (100 %) natural organic jute fiber of Bangladesh and all products are hundred percent (100%) biodegradable. It will add aristocracy to your taste.
We also use famous Sonali Bag or Golden Bag for packing our products.
Sonali bag (Bengali: সোনালী ব্যাগ) is a cellulose-based biodegradable bioplastic alternative to plastic bags, developed in Bangladesh. The cellulose used in Sonali Bags is extracted from jute, hence it is dissolved easily in the soil.
Now we are using 100% Organic, Bio-Degradable and totally Compostable , next generation products for packaging. These are made of starch and oil derived from vegetables, an approach to renewable resources. Absolutely looks like polythene bags, but you will feel how premium it is when you touch it. It bio-degrades with water or soil within only 3 to 6 months after throwing away and becomes fertiliser.
Instead of cheap plastic bottles we are using glass bottles or jars for our liquid products. For glassware, we primarily work with artisans who make it with hands.
Plenty of glass exists already; it does not degrade over time. Bottle glass has an established recycling infrastructure. Plate glass, however, ends up in landfill, unless it gets upcycled into a second life.
Glassware is all blown by hand and made using recycled glass, whenever possible. Each piece helps preserve age-old techniques, keeping the tradition and interest of this ancient craft strong.
We hope you will enjoy the unique tableware of Recycled Glassworks as much as we do.
